Sandra has lived in East Tennessee for over 30 years. She is a graduate of UT, Knoxville where she earned her master’s degree in education. She was a local public school teacher for over ten years before taking her teaching skills to an online platform. She has also done freelance work on a variety of local productions for tv commercials and film projects. She has volunteered in several positions at her local church, including youth mentor for Junior High ministry, video camera and video switchboard operator, and participant in Operation Backyard (OBY) through her church and the Knoxville Leadership Foundation. The OBY projects involved minor repairs to homes that needed a little extra TLC. She previously served on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization committed to local filmmaking. She also interned at the local PBS tv station and served as a volunteer at the Department of Youth Development.
She is a multi-talented, small-town girl with a big heart and a desire to help people. Driven by a never ending quest for knowledge, she is continuously embarking on new journeys to challenge her perspective and shape her career toward success.
